Rose Durbar is made from 100% pure cotton, hand-woven on a traditional Assamese wood loom using the throw-shuttle technique. The deep rose pink fabric is decorated with large Xinkhap motifs, one of Assam's most intricate extra-weft weaving styles worked in ghisa and white by experienced master artisans. Smaller white geometric Butas fill the body, and a clean ghisa stripe border runs along the hem. White tassels finish the edges neatly. This mekhela sador is comfortable to wear through long occasions and gets softer and more lustrous with every wash.
