This baby pink cotton saree carries a piece of Assamese weaving heritage in its pallu. Handwoven on traditional wooden looms with 100% pure cotton threads, it has a soft, lightweight feel that makes it easy to wear for long hours without feeling heavy. The body of the saree is kept simple, dotted with small pink and white floral motifs that add a delicate touch without competing for attention. The pallu is where the story unfolds, a bold, traditional gos (tree) motif, deeply rooted in Assamese textile heritage, repeated across the pallu in a rich deep pink shade. This motif has been used by weavers for generations and gives the saree a strong cultural identity rooted in nature. The soft pink base makes this saree easy to style. It looks lovely with a red or maroon blouse for a classic contrast, as seen here, or with a matching pink blouse for a softer, monotone look.
