Sky Poppy

Sky Poppy is made from 100% pure cotton, hand-woven on a traditional Assamese wood loom using the throw-shuttle technique. The light sky blue fabric is soft, breathable, and comfortable for all-day wear. Small poppy flower Buta motifs in two shades of navy blue are scattered across the body — each one carefully hand-woven by master artisans. The border features a wide band of deep blue geometric diamond extra-weft patterns, densely packed and precisely woven, with a large floral Buta panel at the hem for added detail. A thin stripe runs along the inner edge, and bright blue tassels finish the piece neatly. This mekhela sador is a good choice for everyday wear as well as casual occasions — easy to drape, easy to style, and gets softer with every wash.
