Crimson Grove is made from 100% pure cotton, hand-woven on a traditional Assamese wood loom using the throw-shuttle technique. The vibrant red fabric is scattered with small white floral Buta motifs across the body, while the border showcases the traditional Gos motif, stylised trees and temple-like forms hand-woven in crisp white by master artisans. The Gos motif is one of Assam's oldest weaving symbols, representing nature and prosperity, and is rarely seen in modern handloom pieces. Below the Gos panel, a multi-layered geometric extra-weft border in white adds further depth and structure to the hem. White tassels finish the edges cleanly. This mekhela sador is ideal for festive occasions, pujas, and Bihu, and becomes softer with every wash.
